As a specialist in custom building, Velocity Bikes has selected the best road bike frame manufacturer; Viner. Viner build some of the best, most advanced carbon, aluminum and steel frames in the world, by hand, in Italy. Using custom fit geometry and with custom carbon tubes used on the Viner Maxima, nobody else can come up to the mark. Velocity bikes can build your dream bike using groupsets from Shimano, Campagnolo and Sram, with the finer details made up from great cycle components from Bontrager, 3ttt, Deda and Pro the, choices are endless. Mercian Cycles is our preferred custom made touring frame builder. Mercian is one of the last bastions of soft-flame hearth brazing, which is perhaps the kindest way to construct a light steel frame. With a relationship that goes back to 1989, and real input into the way Mercian make frames for us, we trust Mercian to deliver a touring frame that will be unique and ideally suited to your particular needs.
If Road bikes aren’t your thing then we have selected Santa Cruz and the British made Orange Mountain Bikes as our premier custom build MTB frames, again top quality products such as Marchocci, Magura, Fox, Easton and DT Swiss can be hung from these great frames to transform them into highly capable mountain bikes.
Some of you like the economical route of getting a bike off the peg. This is a simpler option, and with our help we can take some of your selected changes to a standard bike to give you that personal touch to make the bike your own. With bikes from Gary Fisher, Genesis, Ridgeback, Merida, Felt and Olympic winning Orbea there's definitely a bike for you.
